Alberta high school players

ya micheal-lam we might have to meet up and hit a few around , i just hope i can get back into to badminton serious and completive like last year this year i have been playing i think too much and it changed from a have to win every game type thought in my head to a recreation type mentality , but then again i always have doubts and worries before the first tourneys , woot woot home tourney here in brooks in T minus 6 days and 14hours lol i think thats right oh well simple next sat here i brooks any one coming down for it ?

Yeah, last year there were only two pools for juniors but damn i'm gonna call them and see if there is anything i can do =) and kenny you should come hit with us too!

Hahahaha, we did so bad. I played mixed doubles haha i was the kid in the China shirt, with the stupid school that yelled alot

yeah, well having all the names helped.

How did you do? I figured it was going to be you against Denis Chernoff at some point.

I laughed as some of the kids were complaining that courts were "too big" ( uh, they're standard size).

One of the coaches was even complaining that the roof was "too short". Anything, but the fact their player was simply not good enough to win. (I don't think I saw anyone serve high enough to hit the roof, never mind a clear).

The nets in that school were higher were they not? One of the organizers also seemed very rushed Vining...who was that?

Haha Michael, everyone at my school was amazed by your height when you jumped for the smash, i got a picture of you jumping on my phone haha its set as my wallpaper.

I can't wait to be in high school.... I have a question.... In your school, do you have to be good enough in grade 10, to beat out some of the grade 11's for a spot on the team? Or do we just have to beat out our own generation again?

Umm.....well there are age categories like Junior, Intermediate and Senior. You can play in higher categories but not lower. Our Seniors and Intermediates get first dibs on what they want to play since some seniors are young enough to play intermediate and some intermediates are young enough to play junior. So it all kind of depends how many player kind of go out in each age category
