Hey guyz, i wonder if ya guyz can recceomend a string. Okay let me start, i juz strung a bg85 at 22 pound. And i think it is too weak, i mean i would like it to be able to hit harder, any reccomendation besides bg66/85 ? i uses a carbonex 20 (orignal) and MP100. Ohh yah i also wonder if this is possible, a mp100 with numbers for the date when it is created and the country, however it does not have a serial number. And at the back of the racket where the yonex sign is, there a CH and a numbers. I bought it in china. Is it fake ?

Yes, sorry but your racquet is fake.

You should try bg 68ti at 23 lbs. I tried it and loved the power and control.

Btw, lower tension = more power, higher tension = more control.

BG 85 is fine. I don't think changing to other strings will help add much power. There may be a psychological effect though.

I mean, if you change the strings and find increased power in your smash, there could be two reasons for this:

    1) the actual string itself, or,
    2) your mind says to itself "new strings=more power in smash" so then you hit harder

BG85 is one of the most powerful string in yonex...
If you think BG85 is too weak, then probably your form isn't right perhaps?

Is it really true that lower tension=more power , higher tension=more control ??

If that's the case then i should string it at lower tension

Err can you post a link of any thread that talks about this? I'm interested in knowing the benifits of stringing the strings tighter...
