can we see a picture of this successful modification??
    Thanks in advance.

It looks like I'm going to buy a Stringway ML100 after all(which is the LF MS200TT, right?). A couple of weeks ago I was either going to buy the Eagnas ST-200 or the Pro's Pro Challenger I. Luckily the Eagnas St-200 was out of stock, and there where some problems with the distributor. So now I am considering the Stringway again. I really think it's a better machine and worth the extra money.

But when it comes to the clamps, I'm not quite sure. Should I get the flying clamps from stringway (which are for tennis right? although they claim they can be used for badminton aswell..), or should I buy 4 yonex fly clamps? 2 stringway clamps cost about the same as 6 Yonex fly clamps

I will ask Stringway to deliver it with two head supports, just like Pete. Should I ask for two O91 or O92 head supports? I hope Pete can help me on this.

And another question for Pete, did the machine come with any tools, or should I buy those seperately?

I think I've asked enough questions for today :P

    Yeap, they are equivalent.

Please use the fixed clamps for clamping the main strings when you purchase the ML100. And specify the double-action fixed clamp system. Also ask if fixed badminton clamps with only three teeth are available.

It's the O92 support system. You have to be very specific when you place an order: tell the dude at Stringway that you need an extra O92 head plate. And forget the new throat mounting system that they have. I still think that the two head plate mounting system is superior.

And another question for Pete, did the machine come with any tools, or should I buy those seperately?

Mine came with piler and a Gamma flying Clamp.

Well, I wish I could afford those... But with the T98 fixed clamps, The machine will cost nearly 600 euro's. Maybe, when I've strung enough rackets, I will upgrade my machine, but for now, flying clamps will have to do.. The only question is, which.

Thanks for your quick answer though!

Here is a link to someone who has done an extensive review of the Laserfibre machine,
    http://www.keohi.com/tennis/reviews.htm

He got the MS200 ECO with future double action upgrade kit...

    As per request . . .

The first picture shows the modification to the throat mounting plate. I swapped the original with another head plate but Tim didn't ship me the shorter clamps.

Great pics Pete. Been looking forward to seeing your modification. That's also a nice racket you have mounted there. Will Tim be sending you the smaller black clamps?

Thanks! The racquet is a NS-9000 JP 2U G5, not mine though.

I hate to say this but Tim has been all talks. Tim didn't send out the shorter clamps since early January. If you browse the tennis forums, you will notice Laserfibre's service went down quite a bit. I have a feeling that if I don't buy something (fixed clamps for example), Tim will not send out the shorter clamps.

It should be able to. I've strung "lesser" racquets to 34 lbs. just fine.

It's holding up so far as I am half way through the cross. Fingers crossed!

I take it the longer clamps at the throat plate did not obstruct your fly clamps from completing the last few crosses?
