Play badminton in HCMC VIETNAM

Are there any VNese in this forum? I'm a 17-girl, Vnese, love playing badminton, used to play for HCM Team, but haven't played for years. Now I wanna play but I can't find any partners... I live in HCMC. Is there any club in HCMC? Can I join?

I am vietnamese and will be returning to Vietnam next year around Tet.
I just went to Vietnam in summer and found it hard to find badminton clubs/stores. Hopefully next year, we can maybe meet up and get a few games.

Did you buy the racket yet? I think you can go to Hong Sport shop located on A43 Ky Dong street, Dist 1, HCMC (tel: 08 39250 146).
Are you playing in any club in HCMC? Can you share the schedule? I'd like to join if any.

Gosh, I miss playing in HCM.. Even though I can't speak Vietnamese, the games remained fun! If I ever get the chance to go back there, I won't miss the opportunity to join the badminton club again.

Do these courts sell rackets too? My gf is in VN and I was hoping she could pick up some rackets for me, but I don't know any shops besides a couple I found on the site. Maybe the courts have shops there too? It would be helpful if you guys can tell which shops sell real Yonex?

I left HCMC but I did finally find a very good place to play during my last weeks there. I am sorry for the lack of details, but it shouldn't be too hard to find with my indications:

Q11 (?) in the small stadium next to a bigger one, circa 10 courts at the second floor. 25 000 VND a hour or maybe 15 000. Easy to get a court on Sundays and Saturdays, especially close to lunch hours (tends to fill up after the lunch break, so I would guarantee it at 100%); apparently even easier to get a court during business hours during week days.

I am sorry these indications are very incomplete. But I would have loved to find even half of this during my first months in the country...

There is a Malaysian group playing badminton in Le Quy Don St., Dist. 1 at Marie Curie High School. They play every Tues, Thurs and Sun. Sometimes I play with them.
