She's a badminton player and all those pictures are from the waist up. You want to see muscles? Find pictures of her from the waist down.
Thank You Seawell for these marvellous pictures! Gong Ruina is really cute, gorgeous and graceful. I want to see her in a film instead of on a badminton court.
I do hope you mean art house movies ala Gong Li. As for the pictures, the first two is awful but the last two is great. Pardon me if I think she don't cut it as a model. She could act well though, depending on her talents off court.
i couldn't disagree more (!!) i felt the last two were awful while the first two - tolerable .. ok ok! she looked just right. model or not? well, it's to my understanding that anyone could be one as long they've got da height, are slim and prim and some looks. of course, you're entitled to yer own op. but i think GRN looks infinitely better on court though. (i obviously don't take easily to changes )
She looks better in these than in the other ones we saw of her, but I would still prefer Zhang Ning anyday. XXF also looked very elegant on the podium at AE2005.
the third and forth pictures are the best, but i have to agree with some previous posters that she just does not look like a badminton player in these pics. she looks more like some actor or singer rather than a world class badminton player, but she still floats my boat whether shes all dressed up or kicking some a** on court .
i thought badminton players usually had lots of arm muscles. look at the picture of zhang ning here. anyway i feel that players with too many distractions arent gonna perform well.
yeah but you still need a considerable amount of arm muscles. grn's one is like no muscles at all? haha.
your wrist is connected to your forearm. strong wrist translates to large forearm. ask your buddies, i bet you everyone's racquet arm forearm is visibly larger than their non-racquet arm. mines sure is. it looks quite funny sometimes. hahaha
well GRN is not oging to be tensing her muscles in a photo shoot like she would on court. btw IMO zhang ning looks really good in that photo, even compared to GRN in the photo shoot.
