looking for calgary players

hi folks. looking for some people in calgary to play some badminton with. village square is just too crowded sometimes.

where do you all play? mind if another player comes along?

i have been playing for 13 years off and on and now i want to improve on my skills. i suppose i am an intermediate player, have a decent backhand.

dunno, whichever. just looking for some new people to play with.

all my friends don't really play very well, and its starting to rub off on me...feel like i'm getting worse every time i play with them. they have no interest in improving, they just like to play.

beddington height elementary school
monday and wednesday nite 8:15 to 10:15pm 5$ for drop in, 300 mavis included. No badminton next week due to easter break.

friday nite at hillhurst sunnyhill community gym 7:30 to 11

m, 6$ 300 mavis included

i usually go to talisman centre, gym 4 with a friend just to play recreationally. it's pretty expensive compared to the options cooler listed. but the facility is nice (in gym4)

yeah thats a great place actually im going there today lol, when do you go play there cheung? maby we can go play sometime. as for other places to play meh i use to go to Viallage Square alot but we would get lots of people to go this way we could keep atleast 2 courts. but most of the other places are just to far. I also go play at the university their facilites are not bad, its just hard to find people to go play with. even harder now as one of my friends has recently told me that hes just making badminton a hobby now and not going to take it as serious...maby we can go play some time sunofabeach.

pretty much the only night i can't play is sundays. i'm free any other evening though. i'm going to village square tonight if you want to come out. shoot me a pm if you're interested.
