Desperately need a new racket!
Hey,
I've been borrowing a mates old racket while playing recently as i'm looking for a new one.
I've been thinking of a Prince TT Whisper or Prince TT Warrior but i'm not sure which is the best choice, or if there are better rackets for a similar sort of price (i'm willing to spend up to £70). I would like a powerful racket that still maintains control at the net (and i quite like the feel of lighter rackets to).
Plz help!
cheers

Locksta, have you try looking at the Yonex websites?
I personally prefer yonex racquets instead of other brands

ive got tennis shoes an i wear them while playing, they seem to do the job fine. Do i still need badminton shoes?

You have to use the badminton shoes because they are lighter and softer than tenis shoes, so that, your feet will be safe. With about 70 euro, you should purcharge a Gosen Gavun Root Ti 5000 or an Ashaway Ti 150. I had tried the Prince Warrior and sold it last month . If you love Yonex , you could try the MP 33.

I have MP30... Similiar to MP33.... But I"ve always been wondering if there is a big difference between these two and AT800/MP99...
If I have a chance to buy another racquet, I'll definitly get a higher end racquet..
WHy don't you try looking at the armortec series? locksta.

Suggestion: Kason.
I'd like to recommend a new brand. KASON.
I just switched from Yonex MP-99 to Kason Carvel U3 & U4. The Kason rackets are so light and quick, easy to play. I love it and would recommend to everyone. Please research into Kason rackets before you buy any racket.

Kason = China Junior National Team Sponsor.
Kason is the sponsor of china's junior national team. Probably the second most popular racket brand in China. I was referred to Kason from a Chinese national player.

can anyone advise me about the differences between an Armortec 300 or MP66 (what type of players they suit etc.)?

According to the Yonex's chart in 2005 catalogue.
AT-300 is more to single-offensive racket, it is between AT-700 and Cab-200.
MP-66 is more double-deffensive racket.

I have a suggestion.
Instead of Armortec 300, you might consider getting the Armortec 500.
The difference in price is a VERY TINY LITTLE TINY TINY WHINY bit.
However, AT500 has gForce Ti and 300 doesn't.
So pay the extra $10 and get the 500 =D

Material doesn't matter as much as how it actually plays. AT300 is more flexible than the AT500, and those who prefer stiff rackets should go for AT500.
