From Badminton Australia newsletter, Badminton Briefs: Nanjing Training Camp Planned for April/May In mid April – 16 athletes and 2 officials will head to Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China to train at the Nanjing Institute of Physical Education and Sport. This is an opportunity for those selected for the Sudirman Cup Team to train together before heading to Beijing on 7 May for this week long event. It will also be a terrific opportunity for our Tier 2 athletes, some from the Reserve Squad to train in China for 3 weeks. This opportunity is part of the Chinese Exchange Program establish late in 2004. BA expects to have a group from Nanjing training with us in Altona in December this year.
