i recently got a at800 O with BG 68 Ti string. I told the stringer to to string it at 25 lbs. Is it a too much tension?

Should be fine. Myself and my partner regularly string ours (800 of) at
31 pounds. As long as the stringer knows what he is doing 25 pounds will be fine.

    What is your question?

1- Too much tension for racquet?
2- Too much tension for you?

If 1, Then no. Some people string their AT800 28lbs++ (ask Taneepak) whitout problem.

If 2, Then only you can answer. What was your previous tension? Try it and check if you like it.

when I went to string my MP30. I told the stringer I want 23lb and he freaked out on me thinking I'm crazy. He said 23lb is too tight and it might bend my racquet or even break it.

Is HE crazy or is he right?

Since I don't know if he "knows what he's doing"... Should I risk a 25lb next time? Or just continue with low tension?

What was your MP30 condition? If its in bad condition then its understandable.

If its a brand new, then you should change your stringer. If he freaks out with 23lbs I guess he will have a heart attack if u ask him for 25lbs.
