Let's err on the side of personal responsibility, for argument's sake. You have a shiny new Nanospeed 7000. Your partner has a school racket. Posters here have pointed out that with a school racket, you'd tend to play recklessly cause:
(a) it's not a personal racket
(b) it's a school racket.
Tell me, why didn't you put away your Nanospeed, and get a backup racket instead?

. Accidental racket clashes are part of playing doubles... people with 'cheaper' or any racket for that matter shouldn't be penalized if someone's expensive toy gets dinged up.
