Is the karakal sl-70 really that good or just light?

My friend and I have been having an arguement about this racquet. I said that a racquet too light is almost useless to generate power without REALLY good technique but he says that it can produce momentum to produce speed and power. His power and technique are that of a low level intermidiate player, like me. Would this racquet be any good in singles or would an AT700 suffice? And who's right?

None of you are right because it depends on people. Some people generate more power with light racquet (head light) while other pack more punch with heavy (head heavy) racquet.

hmmm, well rite now, he's using a 703 Carbo-knight and his smashes are slightly faster with a at700. in ur opinion, if you were going for singles, which racquet would you prefer? At700 or Sl-70?

Well he seems to smash better with a head heavier racquet?

Then his choice would be AT700 over Karakal sl-70.

But hmm.. there again, what if he tries MP88 or Mp99 or Ti-10... Its all good in theory but will he perform better?
