I just find this web and became a new member.

I play badminton in Tokyo in Japan.

Last month, I played it a gim near my house again.
I'm very happy to play badminton.

When you come to Japan and want to play it,
    please contact me at e-mail.

I'll help to find a place to play badminton.

Ofcourse, you can join our club:)

    Thanks Dave

    Hi,Dave.

    Thank you for reply me.

I have played badminton for 18 years .
But last year, I couldn't play it becouse of my pregnant.
I begun to do it last month again and play it once or twice a week.
I don't know how to say my level.
I won the championship in Kinki District of a member of society five years ago.
But now I can't do smash becouse my abdominal muscles has gone:p hehe..
I have to train my abdominal muscles before playing it hard.

I made a badminton club for training last month.
You know, I need a badminton training now.

I want to play badminton more.

    How about you , Dave?
How long have you played? Have you been in Japan?

    Thanks Ceng

    Hi, Ceng

Thank you for the warm welcome in Japanese.
    Spelling is correct:)

    Japanese player don't come here?
Almost Japanese can read and write in English, moreover English school is popular in Japan.

There are some good site to find a place where you play badminton in Japan, but I have never seen the English site .
So when you join a Japanese club, you need a pen and a note to talk with many Japanese:p
    This is not a joke...hehe.

    Thanks cooler

    Hi.cooler

umm...I don't know if Japanese are good in chatting .
I only mean that Japanese can read and write.
Chatting need an ability to type quickly. But almost of us don't type in English as usual life. So chatting is more difficult for Japanese than spoken in English:D

Recently, most student go to abroad for studing English(?)
Most japanese player come to this site soon:D maybe...

I played on and off in high-school, then gave up for about, oooh 10 years at least. This is maybe my third year back into badminton :D

Japan? Very nice place. I was there maybe 4 years ago, in Yokohama. Was there for a couple of days.

Congratulations on your baby boy! :D

Yes, I was a good player ...but now I am not:(

I went to join the UC Davis Chanpionship about 5 years ago.
It is a very good memory for me.
I want to be a good player again .

My young sister lives in LA. Maybe I will come to CA this or next year.
If I have a chance, I hope to play badminton in CA .

What a handsome boy you have! You and your hubby must be very fond of him. But I'm rather disappointed that both of you did not show us a pic of yourself carrying your son with your man by your side. :p

At recent GP events, Japan has shown the badminton world that they do have world class players in both men and women events. Just wonder whether you can give an update on their team training and who are their coaches.

Your level of play must be very high. I think perhaps what you need now is to improve your fitness after your childbirth and it seems to me that you are gradually getting your fitness back. Keep it up! :)

You are lucky becouse you can't see me on pictures. When you see me, you have to say " miyuki, you look kind ". becouse I am not beatiful ..:p
Anyway , I don't have pictures of me becouse I stay my parent's house in Osaka.

I wanted to give information about training and something.
But now, I don't have a good ability to translate Japanese to English.
I do my best to translate a lot of information.
    Please wait ;)

I heard Park Ju-pon (Spell is correct?)became one of coaches of Japanese National team .
He is korean and popular in Japan as a God of doubles.
He took a gold medal by the Olympics in Sydney.

When I know who is coach, I give a update.

Don't worry. I think many posters here will ask for Japanese translations soon. I remember when there's a new Yonex Catalog or when Kwun visited Yonex in Japan, there were many signs or informations that we wished we understood what it meant.

    Thank you , Dave.
Reading Japanese is difficult , even Japanese:D
Yesterday, I found a topic about a Japanese comic of badminoton in this site.
I thought they want more information about it.I want to say something ,But I don't read it yet:p I have to read it , and then I'll give a update about it.

There is a monthly badminton magazine in Japan.
Is there a badminton book like this all over the world?

Not likely, Miyuki. Badminton isn't a popular sport outside of the badminton countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Denmark, Korea, Japan etc.

I think posters keep their eyes open though, like this link here:
