So which one, in ur opionion, is ur choice? i know they both are very similar in terms of feeling, control, and performance (according to the other threads), so i wondered, if they are similar, which one would u prefer? i know tons of ppl who used both these rackets (ie bluejeff) so i would like to hear ur opinions. Which one is better for u , in terms of performance? can u write which one's power is more superior, which one's repulsion's more superior, etc. this is nothing about color of racket, price, etc. only the performance. thx;) :)

If we are only considering Performance, I will probably pick MP-99.

If we are considering Everything, I will probably pick Cab-30MS.

    For ''me'' Mp99>Cab30Ms

    Good side of Cab30MS (3U):

    - Easier maneuverability
    - Better durability (Cabs keep impressing me)
    - Slightly faster swing
    - Cheaper

    Good side of MP99 (3U)

    - More solid feel
    - Packs more power
    - Bigger sweetspot
    - Better defence

If the price is the same, I would choose MP99 over Cab30Ms. If they are at their retail price I would'nt choose any of those.

I have tried all the AT700, MP99 and the Cab-30 MS in turn. Now, there is only the Cab in my bag! I perfectly agree with bluejeff :
    - If we are only considering Performance, I will probably pick MP-99 or AT700.
    - If we are considering Everything, I will probably pick Cab-30MS.
In additional, I'm an amateur player who sometimes falls into the finals of non-professional championship, I really need Everything instead of Performance.(I have just won in the mixed double and men double finals of tournament for The Cadre of Southern VN Communist Youth Union , with handing the Cab 30 MS,3U, 24pls stringing :) )

If only performance I will pick cab30ms, as I just have a difficult time to get the timing for ISO rackets, and the extra stiffness with MP99 make it even harder to achieve.

If consider everything (i.e. durability, price, etc), I will definitely go with Cab30ms. In US, MP99 is retail for US$170+, while Cab30ms is around US$100-110.

Defnitely the MP-99. Overall, I believe that it is the better racquet but then again you might disagree with alot of us here.

it also depends if u are comfortable with the extra stiffness of the mp99 ;)

i tried 3UG5 mp99 before and it was too stiff for my liking, but the stiffness of cab30 3UG5 was just about right for me.

bear in mind though, i'm a scrawny fellow :p

stronger ppl should have no problems with the extra stiffness i assume :)

Aye, I am a fairly strong laddy and I hate 'floppy' racquets! With a passion....I like the MP99.

You can't really compare durability between Cab30MS and MP99 because thee are too many settings and every case of defect is unique.

However, keep in mind that oval shape racquet like Cab30MS are usually more durable than Iso racquet like MP99 because anything that is getting close to a perfect circle is more durable.

if so, what's the average life expectance of a mp99? that it is not being abused. :)

    Then.... I'd say... Forever?

I mean, if there wasn't any racquet clashes, I doubt any racquet would break LOL... A racquet can't just break from hitting a shuttle, can it?
