    Default is it still in play if...

    a friend and i were playing a game of badminton the other day and i did a bad tip and it went a little high and he smashed it at me but luckily i turned around and the birdie bounced off my back and landed in his side of the court...

    is it still in play? and who's point would it be?

    hi there!it is a fault if a player touches the shuttle with any part of their body or clothing, so in answer to your question if it hit your back then obviously it would be a fault and you lose the point.

    the same is it brushes your hair or clips your shirt it would be a fault and point against you. hope that helps!!

    aww, i should've read this post earlier...i played a game today it ended 24-25 and cause i thought the bird touched his fingers...but he said it's still in play

    how did it finish 24-25?u have to win by 2 clear points!so 24-26 25-2y etc. up to 30!!??
