I have an Armortec 800 DF that broke at the shaft while being delievered. I managed to get my money back but I got to keep the broken racquet. It seems to be such a waste for a perfectly new racquet to be going to waste. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way I can put the racquet back together? :crying:
what i would do with that is attach a handle to the head part and then give the racket to a 7 or 8 year old. Kids that age can't handle full size rackets and i'm sure they would be the envy of all the other little munchkins with their new, custom, armortec 800d.
seriously?? you're kidding me. if i'm 7 or 8 years old, i don't want your fake racket even if it's fixed and it's free.
But its such a waste, I just want to know if it is even possible to put it back together. I have more than one racquet, but I could always use another racquet to play around with. And another thing, what is with the attitude?
^^ damn what a prick.. he asked for advice.. not your stupid remark.. if you cant tell him how he can fix this racquet, dont post unnecessarily..
There is no point in fixing this racquet. Once the shaft is completely severed, the racquet is as good as dead - fake or real YY.
Mark Hervias Location: Courtice, Ontario Join Date: Mar 2005 Posts: 12 Damaged AT800 DE, what now? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am probably the most pissed off I have ever been. A few of you who have read my threads and know that I purchased a supposedly fake AT800 DE off of ebay. I got a notice from the post office to pick it up yesterday. Today I went to the postal office to pick it up. During the drive back to school for badminton practice where I would discuss with other members the authenticity of the racquet, I was opening the package. The next few moments consisted of me filling the car with profanities. The racquet was indeed fake, the paint job was all wrong, PLUS!, the racquet was broken at the shaft. I am in a predicament, I have no idea what to do. I can't certainly get a refund because the racquet is broken. I can't get money from the courier company because apparently there is no insurance. In fact, I dont have a clue in the world what to do right now. So overview of my crap ass day. I bought a racquet that was fake and damaged with no insurance and i'm screwed. Can anyone help me? Mark was very fortunate to got his money back. now he is pushing his luck. wazzzzaass, i hope one day ur on the another side of a player using a repaired fake racket. Maybe a flying racket hitting ur ----- would change your attitude.
I gave honest advice. My coach has a few rackets that are "fixed" like that. Work great for young kids who do nothing but patty-cake and that's about all you can do. I gave a different answer to the solution becuase I assume the poster has *DONE A SEARCH* and figured out that there is no point in fixing a broken racket.
Even if you fix it (by tapes, epo. glues, ...whatever methods), you won't be able to use it fully. It will break very likely once you do a smash (or a fast swing). Don't waste your time and money on this un-fixable thing.
Thanks for all your advice, well except for coolers insults, you all have been helpful. I have a Genuine AT800 DF coming next week so I'll play around with this broken one until then. Thanks again. Oh and cooler, your an ass.
From my point of view, cooler didn't really insult you? Lol. He kind of answered your question indirectly. But really, all your posts is pretty much about the same thing, you keep posting threads on your useless fake amortec 800. Your racquet is as good as dead.
LOL, oh btw, please enlighten us with all the different ways u entertain yourself playing around wif your broken fake racket LOL ( and i bet it's isnt badminton either rofl)
even now, i would love having a shortened at800de. it would be a kickass toy to fool around with on the court with friends. that is the best idea i've heard of in a long time. its a shame that hervias decided to shut it down. he's missing out.
This argument is pointless. I have been bitching about this fake racquet for a while now, sorry if i offended anyone, especially cooler. hey we're all friends here, right? especially us Canadians. GO CANADA!
