Any racket may break if you treat it like Xu Chen does

Yeah that rumour has been going around for a while now. It would be something completely without precedent and pretty amazing if it happened.

To be honest, the badminton market is so saturated with idol worshippers I feel that if Adidas doesn't sponsor someone in the top 10 they may go the way of the dinosaurs

My opinion , adidas is more for soccer, not badminton. But it need take time for it to produce good badminton stuff.

Not exactly. They can close the gap in product technologies and quality because of their R&D department. Adidas is easily one of the richest companies to go into badminton, so if sufficient funding is provided, they can (not saying they already haven't) make great equipment.

@Ferrerkiko : Have you tested their stuff? If not, you're welcome to not judge...
@visor : Agree with you 100%. Axelsen didn't have the success they hoped for yet and their other players are rarely seen in the late stages as well. They need someone who can get to SS quarter finals regularly...

Yeah, they're going for the younger generation, sometimes previous world junior champions. These kids aren't likely going to be, world champions anytime soon, at least not until they have matured. Sure Adidas can wait 5 years, but there really isn't a point if they can make a move to popularize their badminton equipment now.

I would love to use Adidas racket if the balance point got more than 300.

I think some in the precision series are floating around that point. My adipower pro was around 297 before I put an overgrip on it but after stringing.
