Wow! Lin Dan still on At700? I'm trying to see what the top male players' racquets are - it seems theyre mostly At900p and Arcsaber 10. I think I might buy one of these - most likely Arc 10 if I can find out that a good player uses one! If anyone has more information on these racquets and the top professional players' racquets, do please post! Currently, I'm using a nanospeed 9000x, after swapping from an AT800 Offensive, it's nice but I'm an offensive player and I think I'd do better with a more powerful racquet. As for strings/handle grip size/weight I'm still totally clueless as to how this all works - when I buy a racquet from an outlet all of the racquets are the same strings/handle grip size/weight.

Of course not! But knowing what racquets are good for power players will help!

top player racket are stiff...they use different tension to make the racket more powerful...if a player can't generate like top player played...the racket may suffer to a player without have the power >.<

lack power from player + great power racket = stil a lack power =D

i think LD should buy up enough old AT700 to last him to 2012. If u look at WS and MS, AT700 is the most winningest racket. Even taufik famous backhand smashes were most successful with an AT700.

Lee Jae Jin of Korea OG men's bronze medal uses Arc7.

more of a defensive racquet.... not much use in a men singles!!! (lol.... personally I'm more of a doubles fan than singles)

Xu Huaiwen from germany also use arc7.

His partner also uses the AT900T, not exactly the best racquet for hard hitting doubles play. I dont' recall them being very defensive though.

......what I actually meant was more lighter, quicker reflex etc. (less power, but better for defensive stuff, as can be seen from his very quick racket work).

oh.... and also Marc Zwiebler from germany is also another using arc7

So i suppose that more and more singles players are switching to the Arc10 now from their AT700s.
