Yonex seems to have made quite an effort since 2011 to enlist as many national champions/silver medalists from Europe as possible. I like. Even though I'm no Yonex fan, it'll probably result in better sponsorship conditions for the players

I see that as a desperate move after being flanked sides by Victor, Li-Ning and Flypower. Now they don't want losing the European market to these guys.

It probably is, but still - as long as they give out better sponsorship deals, I don't care so much for the reasons. A little bit of healthy competition will result in better sponsorship and a wider offer (Victor will probably not sell the MX60 in Europe at all, and threaten anyone who asks if they have to get it in Asia....).
To be honest, while I like what Victor has to offer, the way they deal with the European market is really putting me off. I'll probably not buy from them again so soon....

VT-ZF is quite accepted among the pro. Good marketing by the evil empire.

SMart idea by Gade, swapping points with LCW to keep Chen Jin out of the Olympics .

I think Yonex is doing a better job this time around with using the boyz on salary for some strong marketing messages :-) .. Like what Li-Ning did with Lin Dan and his ads with quotes citing the better power with the N90 racket :-)

For people following comments on BC it is a bit embarrasing though as the quotes from Chong Wei seems somewhat to even contradict Ants comment that the racket where still under development and being customized for LCW during Korean Open :-) , and that the jury where still out on the final specs :-)

Hopefully it is a good racket.. As he will need competetive HW coming this year OG.. I am pretty sure the chineese team will spare no expense at tweaking their hardware to get some of that glimmering OG golds :-)

It is impossible they don't know about the racket. Maybe some or most but not all since it was already used openly by Lee Chong Wei and KKK/TBH. How many INA players are left on the Yonex advisory staff?? Only Taufik and Sony according to this page: http://www.yonex.com/badminton/advisory_staff/
