i am not paying much attention on victor rackets. However, some guys in my local badminton forum claimed that there is 1st gen and 2nd gen. I guess 2nd gen BS09 differ in wording than the 1st edition, not its color though.

I don't think KKK & TBH are using VTZF 4U, it is lacking of power for them. Definitely 3U for them .

if he used n90ii it wasn't for very long. He probably just liked the n90 more but it's impossible to really know.

Never ever saw him using the N90II....so there's no reason for him to switch back, as he never even used it. The first gen is head heavier though, so that might be why he stays loyal to it

Yeah, I was just thinking that myself. Maybe they were listening to me and have scrapped the whole idea of calling a new racket the 'Thruster'?

i think it not be that bad of publicity to call it the thruster. I know I would always make reference to the name...... Relevant note I hope it is a new heavy victor racket.

Actually ... , one of the Japanese ladies still uses a Carbonex 23 (Suetsuna) but it has only been discontinued in Japan a few years ago ...

Could be just a local player using her own stock

MP99 is still more available than AT700. The AT700 is one of the most sought-after rackets there is, more so than the older Ti-10s. That's partly because a large fan base swears there's no other racket out there that's just as good in all aspects...hocum imop^^

And the point ... ? He is assuming that the player must be sponsored by Yonex and they are supplying the MP99's, which imo is not very likely nor that any distributor still has stock. Stores is another matter and even there I don't come across (m)any ...
Of course there should be more MP99's available than original colour AT700's as it was still produced in 2008 versus 2006 for the AT700.
I do recall seeing someone with MP99 yes but with a Victor outfit on the Taiwanese team and that is probably who is referred to here ... Funnily enough they are MP99's with blue Victor butt caps .

My point was that Yonex has/had some left over. Although they seem to be clearing their stock, a few shops here got the offer to buy more MP99s which had been in store in Japan. No idea what the situation with the Taiwanese player is, but there are several players with separate clothing and racket sponsors.

Yeah. MP99 still can be purchased in a wallet friendly fashion, as to 1st gen AT700, the owner of these rackets mostly give ridiculous price tag which kind of informing buyers that sellers themselves do not want to sell it.

Actually not that long ago ...

As far as I am aware, the "LATEST" (I hate to use the word LAST, as who knows, that a future champion may emerge swearing on Cab only !) top professional to use a Carbonex (Cab21) is Wong Choong Hann (ex-World No 1 and MAS) and his last professional standing was no. 44 (Dec 22, 2011) - check wikipedia.
