Sorry but what is the point of knowing which top player use which racket?
I mean they are sponsored players (by Yonex or otherwise) and they are bound to use the rackets from the sponsors. Do they really like them or would they actually use another brand/model if they are given a free choice? We just donot know.

It's definitely of interest to know which racquet a player uses.
Sometimes the players change models because they like to have a change! Some don't like to change. e.g. Sun Jun used boron 2 even though it was unavailable. XXZ used cab20 for ages. Chen Hong used cab20 for ages before changing to Ti10...
Peter Gade used Slim10 till it was practically unavailable.

No, Ti-10 is no longer made. What they have made was probably a Ti THREE-AND-HALF and decided to call it Ti-10. Having probably paid Fu to wave it about, Yonex hopes that is sufficient to convince the joe public that the Ti3.5 is really a Ti-10. Clearly, the strategy is working given your enthusiasm. But for people like me who owns the racket, and appreciates the charateristics of Ti-10, what they have done is nothing more than a con.

What Rackets Do The Professionals Use
I did a search before starting this thread and i did not find anything similar except for the thread that asks what taufik is using and as the thread stated taufik is currently using AT900T. Which makes me wonder what other top players are using. and not just the ones sponsored by yonex but those sponsored by other brands too like carlton and forza. yesterday i saw this picture of KKK and TBH in a local paper, the star. but even when i can see the racket clearly, i dont recognize the racket. maybe those who are really really good at identifying a racket can help out. i wonder what martin lungaard hansen is using too. and i really would like to know what chen hong is using now.

I thought you mainly wanted to know about those using rackets that aren't Yonex. If you wanted Yonex sponsored top players, then you could easily find the info here.

I don't know about those. You might be able to find a Carlton list, but I'm not sure.

It's a fact that pros doesnt have alot of option to choose which racket they wanna play with.If they r contracted by yonex, then they must choose yonex rackets..not others. So does players that r contracted by any other brands..unlike us,lots to choose..though they got it for free n we gotta pay it.So,most pros can only choose the racket within the brand..n doesnt mean that a racket that is more pros r using is the best.Within the brand,maybe..but not in the whole market..
For addition,
Chen hong-Victor
Most of chinese junior n some chinese pro players-Kason

i know but usually it is a thread on one particular player or doubles partner. i thought one thread to bind them all would be good. i was thinking this would be a good place to see what ALL the pros are using. sorry if it is considered redundant.

gail emms - carlton powerblade superlite (notice the iso head, airblades are ovals)
cai yun - AT900T (?) in singapore open
flandy limpele - AT900T (?) in singapore open
sudket prapakamol - victor (dunno what model. anyone?)
looks like victor is making a push at improving its international recognizion & sales by sponsoring top level pros. nice move. will give consumers more options & badminton addicts more equipment to drool at.
