What angle is your racquet at when you slice. Is it parallel to the net or at an angle? Need this for singles

If the racket head was parallel to the net at the point of impact, it would not be a slice haha. But as for the angle, the angle depends on where you're trying to hit the bird. Lets say if you are in the very back corner, then a 45 degree angle opposite to where you are would about get your drop shot to the front opposite corner. Keep in mind that the individual court is not a box, so the 45 degree angle is just there to give u an idea.

i think he meant parallel to the net, as in you swing, but at your foreswing moment, you rotate your forearm, so the face of the racquet moves completely laterally (horizontally) and therefore slices the bird that way.
