Hi, I am new here. Juz like to find out any bros here using silver grey ractet? any review or coments?
This is a 1970s racquet, which probably was endorsed by the late Singapore's sportsman of the century, the great badminton player and the father of the backhand stroke.
but recently saw in a sport shop in singapore. quite light (about 80g) , so wonder if anybody has try before can advise.
I own one SilverGrey Racket. i think the weight of this racket is 5U/G2. The racket u spoke abt isit the blue colour version? From wat i know there are 4 version. Red colour (Offensive) - clone of mp100 ----> cost ard $95 Blue colour (Offensive/Defensive) - not sure which clone, mayb it is his own series -----> cost $130 White colour (Defensive) - might b it's own series ----> cost $130 and the other one is mp77 colour scheme, so i assume is a mp77 clone ---> cost $90 or $95 (forgot liao) btw i think is oso a Defensive racket anyway i give u a mini review on it. -Feel- The feel is great for me! Strung wif bg66 @ 23 tension. solid feel for me. When i play wif this baby here, i feel like my skill has been improve ALOT!! 9/10 -Power- At first i thought need to use more strength to smash the birdie since its head is light but noooo....it still able to Generate a Hard Smash w/o using much of strength.Totally impress by it. 8.5/10 -Netplay- God im sucks at netplay, but after getting this racket. WOW ,i can command the birdie to go where i want the birdie to go!! When i use back my Ashaway Aerotecc 200 wif bg 66 @ 23 tension, i cant do the same as the SilverGrey racket does. God i love this racket!!! 9/10 Overall: 9/10 Conclusion: For me, i find that this racket is consider one of the best racket. I think it is better yonex racket, but it's up for u to decide whether is gd or bad!! btw im new here, alot things i still dont know. But i can tell u tat, it is worth buying. Compare to those Apacs or Fleet or others, I think SilverGrey is better than them. I think it is on par wif the proace and yonex High End Racket. well......hope my mini review helps... P.S i own the Blue colour version which is a defensive/offensive racket.
Hi, i not sure whether it is avaliable in canada but it is avaliable in singapore. The blue silver grey u speaking of has a new version which is ALOT stiffer than the previous. I rate the previous version as very flexible.
Thanks Silver, you are right, it is not sold in Canada. Do you know of any retailer in Spore who stocks this racket ? There was one in Bras Basah complex but he does not import it now.
In Singapore i know there is 2 shop avaliable, 1 is at queensway shopping centre, the shop is own by a indian. 2nd shop avaliable is at simei East point, 2nd level shopping centre. For the shop name, errr....i have forgotten.
