Sometimes you stumble upon a picture that had you looking for minutes, captivated by the message it portrays through the unspoken word or stillness of life. Here's one I saw today: --- I remembered an image in a National Geographic's advert showing of our grey coloured cousin sitting with head and shoulders above the water line, looking as if it's meditating. Flakes of snow caked on its head, eyes closed, misty breath escaping its nose. I wonder if it's possible to get it anywhere - can't find it online. There are a lot of them but this one caught my attention the most. http://www.yamasa.org/japan/english/destinations/nagano/jigokudani.html
Some meetings I've attended feels very much like that picture ... ha-ha. With the trend of outsourcing work to cheaper geographical location or labor, I remember a quote of an outspoken detractor: "if you want to pay peanuts, you'll get monkeys!" -dave
Monkey: "EH he is taking a nap while pretending to read. He's been on that same page for the last hour"
Man: "Where the heck is the translation to monkey language that says 'Get your finger off my bottom'...."
monkey looking at man: will it be coffee or tea or bananas sir? man (looking at brochure): i know it said 'the ice monkey resort' but this is #@*& ridiculous! monkey behind man: ooooooooo this guy has a wierd tail! monkey couple(getting up): oh no look at the 'animal' crowding our place! let's leave this shabby joint dear
Mateys, this can't be the only picture with artistic quality there. And I see how this thread has the potential of becoming a popular caption contest...
in the spirit of 'which came first the chicken or the egg' as well with 'monkey see monkey do' Pop quiz: who sat down first???????????........ man or monkey(s)?????
Here's another, found this on Wikipedia while doing my 'Wikibrowse' as I always do - reading and jumping from one article to another. They asked me how you know so much, so... it's only as true as the accuracy of the info provided by the public, that. The laydees would probably enjoy this.
