thanks Demolidor

And that's where I spend 1/3 of my life
. The photo is pretty bright, it's not so shiny. Actually, all the light falls right in between the courts, you rarely look into the lights
.
It's not the perfect gym though (must close curtains in the cafateria in the afternoon because the other side would be playing in daylight...) (the floor is slightly dipped, you don't notice it unless you drop a ball) (there's always one "emergency escape" light broke, humming like a bee) But I love it!
(nothing more fanatical than a converted?)

Yep. I agree. I've played in different conditions.
Air-con gyms or tiled surfaces .

I just play at whatever condition it is and try my best to coupe with it.
I played twice weekly at courts with wood parquet surface and three times weekly at a semi-open cement surface court in my uni.
Playing at the semi-open cement court is a lil bit tougher with the wind, poor lighting (at night only, during daytime it's nicely lit by the sun) and some nice distractions (chicks alert! wohoo!).
