Are you supposed to wear socks in badminton shoes? If so what kind? Becuz they are supposed to be breathable shoes with ventilation so i'm jsut wondering if socks are necessary? Btw i have not worn badminton shoes w/o socks yet, because i'm afraid it may be super stinky

IMO, the thicker the socks the better. You'll be surprised how many blisters you can get when you play without your socks.

If you dont wear socks in the shoes, stichings inside of the shoes may hurt your feet as you do strenous excercises and lunges during games. For walking should be no problem as i've done it before. But for games, i highly recommend to wear socks for protection and comfort.

for hygenic reasons I do wear socks when playing badminton. also the Mizuno's I have a tight fit (the way I like it) so it just makes sense to use socks to avoid the blisters on my foot.
