I dunno.. I just wanted to make a topic kinda like that because it just came up to my mind. Maybe this will encourage the few hot babes in this forum to post too. we know they like fashion and style :D

So peeps, wat's your classic style when you go play badminton?!? Always in blue? always in white? a particular brand that make urself unique, anything! any characteristic that makes urself particular on the badminton :p

The picture below shows the classic way i dress up for badminton.

    1. REEBOK white/dark blue shirt with some red stripes at the back
    2. REEBOK red/dark blue short
    3. REEBOK white socks with red/dark blue stripes

    4. YONEX MP-99 with blue grip
    5. YONEX Silver bag
    6. YONEX SHB-98MX

Costing prolly around $450 in total for all the 6 items.
As can be seen! I wear only reebok!! The day reebok will release its own badminton shoes + rackets.. i'll be the first to go buy them! hehe.

I have seen so many kinds of style from badminton players.. there's a guy who's always always in white, completely.. except his racket is black. There was another one who wears a saccoche (small bag around the waist)

And there's that hottie who wears a sexy mini skirt(written SEXY on it) when she plays.. she tends to bend a bit... and yes.. that's sexy :p

I usually sport dark colored shorts (dark purple, blue, black) with either a shirt with either badminton, anime, or video game logos on it. My shirts are typically white, blue, or black. I wear the typical clothes you would normally see in a gym.

I'll probably buy more shorts with more colors. I'm looking into red, green, and grey.

i prefer to have some color in my outfit, i'm glad recent yonex shoes have more bright color. Th old white/black/grey combo is quite boring. The mp99, mp100, shb89,99 have really made badminton less boring.

Fumoffuu, tell all your hottie frens about BC ;)

I honestly have around $1500 in badminton clothes. It's stupid I know. For a period there I just got carried away.
    5 yonex polos
    2 black knight polos
    2 gosen polos
    2 tactic polos
9 yonex, gosen, black knight, university team t-shirts
    4 yonex shorts
    2 yonex track suits
    1 university team track suit
2 long sleeve university team warm up shirts
1 long sleeve gosen warm up sweater
    3 university team shorts
    6 pairs yonex, gosen socks
    2 pairs yonex shoes

    ..........maybe more than $1500...........yuck:(

Red and black combo is looking rather stylish on the court ;) Yonex cover it pretty well for me. But yeah...I agree with 'cooler'...tell your friends about BC Fumoffuu :p maybe they could let us know about there favourites. :D

    My god...

I would say this is such a distraction on the court. I doubt I can get my timing going for any strokes, if I play MXD with this one. :D

At tournaments or when playing competition I wear my club shirt, otherwise a black Adidas outfit.

I think an "anti-style" style might be more interesting. A previously white t-shirt (but not white anymore), ripped jean shorts (with plenty of holes), long unkempt hair (a mullet would be nice), flip-flops and wielding one of those really cool "deformed head" racquets that you can get at your local high school. Carry your gear around in a polyethylene bag, you can get these cheap at the your local grocery store (if you can't find one, substitute with the one you get when buying rice or potatoes).

At badminton club, find the guy with the most Yonex (or Reebok or whatever) gear, and challenge him to a match. Enjoy taking him down. Savour the victory.

Unconventional? Perhaps. But there is definitely much more real flair and style to this look.

Why use a racquet, why not use the tube that holds shuttles to play...making the victory even sweeter. :D

NB: to go with the anti-style theme I suggest you don't even use a Yonex shuttle tube, but an OME/unmarked substandard shuttle tube.

hehe - love the anti style theme, i suppose i'm somewhere in the middle. i don't go for the branded kit. i have black everything, well apart from my trainers which are the hi-tec elite's - but they look worn out because i'm always scrubbing the soles on the top of them.

i used a carlton airblade 900 which is neither here nor there really in terms of style..

i like the all black look tho :) somebody said i look intimidating - it helps being 6'2" though :)

oh and all the barking that i do :)

I have an aversion to brand name attire. However I will wear them if they pay me. On this basis it becomes a fair deal, a win win situation for both parties. Don't you agree? :) :D

As long as I'm not playing at the private clubs with the !*#%^$%$^ all white rulz..

Black shorts and a black wolverine/X-men T-shirt. I also tend to wear T-shirts I got from tounrneys. I have grey one from the GP Open I like.

When I'm at fun tourneys I break out my bright orange boxer with the grinning face or my cat in the hat shorts.
