    Any current UCSD student here?

I will attend UCSD this fall and I just found out that

UCSD Badminton Team finishes 1st in Collegiate Nationals

CONGRATUATIONS to the UCSD Badminton Team for their 1st place finish at the 2005 Badminton Collegiate Nationals. Teams from around the country, including UCLA, Stanford, Cal, M.I.T, etc. came to San Diego to compete against each other for both individual as well as team recognition. UCSD took first as a team easily due to exceptional performances from girls Eva Lee, Stephanie Obayashi, Deana Tran, and Elaine Liu, and from guys Chhay Taing, Josh Barroga, David Lamb, and Tanto Wibowo. As individuals, Freshman Eva Lee took first in Girls Singles, first in Girls Doubles with partner Junior Caroline Chen, and first in Mixed Doubles with partner Senior Janvier Wijaya. The UCSD badminton team is also on their way to winning their second consecutive undefeated League Title, with only matches against SDSU, Caltech, and Calpoly remaining.

anyways, our team is pretty good and we did take the nationals #1 and we were also undefeated in league. unfortunately, i wasn't one of the point getters in nationals :crying:
too many good people... but hopefully next year i will be
funny thing is, i always beat that Tanto Wibowo guy in doubles and he was still a point getter... hmmm...
