6 Stars Tournament - Singapore Open 2005
Today Singapore Newspaper (Strait Times) revealed that 2005 Singapore Open will be rated as 6 stars will be end of June to early July 2005. It was 5 stars rating until 2004 tournament.
The same news also indicated that entry ticket fees will be reduced (30%) in order to attract more fans.
Hope that 6 stars will attract more world class players and lesser entry fees will entice the more fans.

It will be 5 star event this year, and they are planning to upgrade it to 6 star next year. And AVIVA has signed the sponsorship for the next 3 years from 2005 to 2007
