Hello from Finland!

Hi all,

I've been watching this site for a while now, and since there isn't that many Finns around I thought I'd introduce myself (perhaps somebody is even interested in the fact that we play badminton in the polar circle ). I'm 30 years and have played badminton for fun for several years - started in a club last fall and have been playing quite frequently after that. Sports I've been doing all my life, track & field as a kid (until 18 or so) and baseball (yes, the american baseball) for the past 13 years (pitcher). I've only clocked 82 mph in throwing a baseball so no hopes of getting a pro contract - not that I would've liked to do that as a profession anyway ... but it does give me a decent smash in badminton . I've also been working in IT ever since I graduated back in -99 in sales related jobs, but that's boring .
