Alright, here's the deal...I tore the lateral and medial parts of the meniscus in my left knee (i'm right handed and 19yrs old). I had arthroscopic surgery on February 14, 2005 (yes yes, I know valentine's day) on my knee and had removed about 25% of the meniscus. My knee hasn't fully recovered as of today because I had decided to do rehab on my own and had only done the bending part of it and not the extension. So now, I'm going to rehab to fix what I should have fixed before...as far as badminton goes, I can only handle 2 consecutive days of training: the first day only 2 hours of training plus maybe 3 hours of open gym; the second day, about 5 hours of training with a 2 hour break after the first 3 hours. The following day, my knee is pretty much dead and I can't do any running or jumping. So based on what you know so far, what are my chances of actually having a FULL recovery. I want to go back to what I normally did before all this happened such as jump roping, sprints, ect. :crying:

My surgeon said that I should make a full recovery and that I would be able to go back to what I normally did, but will I really? My rehab specialist person said that all i need is more muscle strengthening, but is that really it? :crying:

I really want to train and become a lot better than i am now, but with this knee I don't think I would be able to... :crying: I really do feel like quitting badminton now because I've read somewhere that I will get really painful arthritis in my knee if I continue to play...
