High School Players in San Diego
I was wondering how many BC members are playing in High School in the San Diego Area. Im currently a frosh in Scripps Ranch High badminton team. Who knows maybe some one on my team is a member of BC, but i doubt it.
I also need a partner to train at the Fed (Balboa park activity center) over the summer, I just need to beat this guy and i can be number 4 on my team. So if you live in the SD area and want to help me get better i'd appreciate it.

Um... don't mean to be rude, but why do you want to be #4? Wouldn't it be better to be at least #3 so you can play varsity? Again, I don't mean to offend.

Oh, sorry. In San Jose, #3 is the lowest varsity spot so I thought it would be the same for you guys.

I wish i lived in Orange County, people say a normal rookie there is like a number one here. I guess thats because of the big asian population up there.

Badminton is not only limited to asians playing it. Check around the forums and you will see that many others from all over the world play, not just from asia.

I play for University City High...but I'm just a rookie. #1 rookie, but a rookie nonetheless. Our team got #2 in CiF, losing only to Hoover, 7-10. Scripps Ranch eh? Your #1, Phillip Le, knocked me and my doubles partner out of Rookie Tournament in quarterfinals

Scratch that, we actually got first because Hoover had ineligible players...kinda a lame way to win though..

Its not limited to asians, but from the teams that our in my league, a majority of the players are asian up here.

LoL. I play for Morse High School. I'm a junior, but I'm a rookie. Haha. I'm thinking about going to the Fed, too, all summer. I do sort of need people to play with though because I'm sort of annoyed with the people I usually play with.
Haha. Morse. We would be in last if it weren't for Clairemont. It's ok though. The team was filled with rookies (haha, including me of course). Hopefull we'll do better next year.

depends on the school. some coaches lags the game for soooooo long. this one school ends their games around 8. well the standard varsity lineup in the southern section consists of 3 mixed, 2 boys singles, 2 pairs of boys doubles, 2 girls singles, and 2 pairs of girls doubles. its a best of 19 games
