Does anyone use Yonex Isometric 75 MF Light?

I also own an Isometric 75 and a Muscle Power 100
isometric 75 is pretty good because of its weight and its price.
the racket is great for begginers/intermediate level.
I still say the MP100 is way better, because of its power and control.
one disadvantage is that its heavier.

 

I have an iso 75 mf light too. I haven't tried any other rackets that extensively, but the one thing I definitely noticed is that my friend's MP 99 has much better control and action on short shots. Maybe thats the strings though, I am not sure.

 

MP 100 is better, but maybe its hard 2 get use 2 because its longer than the 75 MF, i have an mf and its not bad

 

The 75 MF is the worst modern badminton racquet I've used. For the same price or less, the Wilson Hyper Hammer 85 is a better choice. However, since there are so many racquets on the market, there are probably better choices at this price point than that particular Wilson, since it's somewhat weak and unstable.

From my experience, the Carbonex 20 Muscle is a vastly superior racquet, and the Wilson Hyper Hammer 85 is greatly superior.

I didn't replace the factory string, which was probably part of the reason behind the 75's poor performance. However, the racquet had really bad control and was difficult to use for practically every shot. Mine broke internally in two places shortly after it was purchased, too. I've read that really flexible frames are not suitable for heavy hitters, because the frames flex and break. Perhaps that's why mine broke so quickly, without clashing?

I think the racquet is a poor choice for anyone, including beginners. It has no power, which will make beginners less fun to play. It also has poor control, which will make the game less fun for beginners and the people playing with them.

 

I currently use an Isometric 75 MF Light and I think it's a decent racket for beginners. I've been using it consistently for 1.5 years and recently started using it with Ashaway MicroLegend XL strings. I find it is much better with the Ashaway strings. Nonetheless, I can't generate enough power for smashes with this racket and I've since purchased a Yonex Armortec 800 Offensive. It is currently being strung, so I will let you all know how it compares to the Iso75 when I finally get it back and get a chance to play with it.

I have tried the Iso75 and own a MP100. I find I can generate a lot of swing speed with the 75 because it is lighter, but less control. For the MP100, it is heavier but more stable.

 

I have a 75 mf light, but because I'm a beginner, I haven't really played with anything else. For me personally, I think it's a nice racquet; it allows me to play delicate net shots/drops and, since I'm not a big hitter anyway, this has really improved my game. Obviously, due to its price, it's not cutting edge, but I'd definitely recommend it for beginners!

I didn't actually say I hadn't played with anything else. What I said was, "I haven't really played with anything else" - and by that I mean, good quality racquets; obviously I have played with other racquets before.

 

Isometric 75 MF LIGHT.........haha have this racket in bag everytime for game..Strange i have never used it before, till now for many years........Always loan out to my friends during the game.

But the commen i got from them is lack of power!!...

 

mp 100 = pro racquet
iso 75mf = begginer / intermediate racquet

pro racquet wouldnt work for begginers because it has a smaller sweetspot, stiffer and stiffer.

 

i think that the iso 75 is a pretty good racket. it does have quite a lot of power, at least for me. i can deliver quite a smash with it. the control of it isn't that bad either. maybe it just takes some time to get used to for some people.

 

The iso75mf is probably the most flexible racket yonex created.

 

wow! i also have the two rackets! i brought my iso75 to a local stringer and agreed to put a 24 lbs tension unto it. The mp100 i brought to another stringer and refused to go beyond the sticker on the racket which is 22lbs.....

mp100 has more power though/.//...

 

I'm quite fond of the Iso75 because of the MF design. I would say that the ISO60 was better than teh ISO75MF.

 

You probably felt it had more power because of the lower tension but then you have to remember the difference between the stiffness of the shafts.
