Noticed that after the World Championships there are two 1* tournaments, New Zealand Open and Russian Open. I've never encountered any starred tournaments in these two countries before. Could they be new, or perhaps upgraded from A?

A 1* tournament is to be held in india this year in december.This one was infact a national championship held in the memory of Syed modi,commonwealth games Champion.It was funded by the local state Govt.Last year it became an invitational tournament,and 2 players each were ivited from singapore,indonesia,thailand etc.And this year it is become a 1* tournament.good news.
