Overseas Chinese-elite players (esp. indonesia)

    Alan Budi Kusuma, Hendrawan, Susi Susanti, Indra Wijaya, Chandra Wijaya, Tony Gunawan, Eng Hian(?) are all Indonesian chinese-elite players, aren't they??

    yeah, they are,so do alven yulianto, liem swee king, and some others, ummm why? its just like wong choong han, lee chong wei, etc in your country right

    their ethnicity are chinese...but they are born and raised as indonesian.....

    i am just interested to know because couldn't know that by names as they are using indonesian names. so i found it interesting :)

    maybe some of you thought i am a "racist"
    but the purpose I post this thread is just want to know more chinese etnic players in indonesia. Just for my knowledge.

    racist? lol, no way, thats waaay too extreme
    i dont know why they use indonesian names tho, i guess the government doesnt allow it, but, what about eng hian and liem swee king? weird, maybe thats becos they use their indonesian names as their nicknames, i doubt if they can speak fluent chinese, i dont know what is the case in malaysia tho

    I think they use Indonesian names for reducing the discrimination
    In Indonesia, there is still discrimination from the indonesian to the chinese
    I am chinese-indonesian, so I experience it myself
