Hi, I shall be going back to Malaysia soon and I am going to buy a racquet. I need some recommendations. It doesn't neccessary have to be a Yonex. 1)I need a racquet with a fast swing to generate more power when I smash. 2)Preferably isometric frame(bigger sweet spot) 3)Very Good maneuverability(won't lose out when I do net plays) 4)3U or 4U. 2U might be too heavy. 5)G5 or G3 preferably. (Just seem to like their touch) 6)Preferably a balanced racquet. 7)Don't mind a little head heavy, but just not too much. Thanks in advance.
Yes, I've tried that racquet. It seemed fine with me. Thanks. I need more recommendation please. I will dedicate 3 days to my racquet shopping. This time I hope to be able to find my "forever partner"

Would u prefer 5U G2? if so, i do recommend SilverGrey racket....i own one and yessssss.....it's gd...
How bout ur budget??? If u got lots of money to spend and since u prefer iso headshape then i suggest at800de, mp99, ns7k, or Tisp ss for yonex. If u will consider oval head, then maybe cab30ms or cab 20
MP99!! it's great for smashing if you can get enough swing speed. i think you g2 be a wrist player for this one to generate the most power. accuracy isn't bad with high tension, but i suck at net play and i can't seem to get that part of my game set with the mp99 yet. overall it has optimized my shots fairly well.
I'd recommend the Yonex Nanospeed 8000. 1)I need a racquet with a fast swing to generate more power when I smash. - Out of all the racquets, it's at the top of the Yonex Selection Charts for offense. Refer to the sticky if you want to see it in detail. It's light and meant for a quick swing, hence "nanospeed." If you're going from an old racquet to this racquet, you'll definitely see how efficient the technology incorportated into this new racquet allows so much energy transfer. 2)Preferably isometric frame(bigger sweet spot) It's isometric and has a huge sweet spot. I'm pretty sure the frame size is equivilant to the Armortec series. 3)Very Good maneuverability(won't lose out when I do net plays) As I mentioned, it's very light as well so, control shouldn't be a factor given that you have excellent net play as well. 4)3U or 4U. 2U might be too heavy. Yes... most of the racquets recommended thus far come standard 3U but, also have 4U but, limited to certain regions. 5)G5 or G3 preferably. (Just seem to like their touch) You have to pick a size. The difference between G5 and G3 is quite large. G3 are more fit for Westerns or Europeans as they have a bigger body build than Easterns or Asians. The G5 is quite small and made for ladies or Asians. I personally have a G4 Nanospeed and it's fine. Best to get something smaller than you think and add grips to compensate if necessary. 6)Preferably a balanced racquet. It's said to be head light but, I find it more balanced. 7)Don't mind a little head heavy, but just not too much. This racquet is not at all, head heavy.
Again, try as many as possible, before the purchase. I believe in Asia, there are a lot of reputable local brands available for decent playability and much more affordable prices.
Yodums = I'd recommend the Yonex Nanospeed 8000. Yes, I've been saving up for it but I am not sure about whether I want that racquet yet. I haven't got any chance to try it...:crying: Sorry to Cab fans, but I don't like carbonex. I find that the technology in other racquets seems to outbeat carbonex and hence its a poorer racquet compared to many. That's what I think. Pardon me if I am wrong. I haven't tried a carbonex yet. I have minimized my choices down to MP99, NS 8/7K I shall take some time and look into carbonex racquets. Also, if there are other racquets, please let me know. I am sure not everyone here is yonex user. I have also included Wilson's ncode pro. What about pro ace wide body? Heard its not a bad racquet.
I have not seen that racquet or heard of it before. Can it be found in Asia . If there is, I will take some time to try it. Yeah at first i also nv heard the brand before.What the uncle told me is that this brand is famous before Yonex...(old sch days 1960+?). i did post a mini review of this racket. I've got a Pro-Ace Platinum 510 Titanium Long. Doesn't seem to like it anymore when I touched MP99...lol...

I am biased towards At800-DE because it's the racket that I use. I think it's a great racket - it fits me like a glove People almost always recommend whatever they use, regardless of whether it is a good choice for you. In this case, however, I think it would be a good option for you.
