I normally buy Mavis 300 Blue shuttlecocks in the UK... Recently I can't find any in high street shops...

I've found Mavis 300 red and Mavis 10 blue. But I can only play with the blue as they suit a singles game.

Are Mavis 10 blue comparable to Mavis 300 blue? And can you still buy Mavis 300? I bought some Mavis 10 today but I have yet to play with them... I did notice they are cheaper than I normally pay for Mavis 300.

    Cheers,
    Chris

Its totally different, mavis 10 is for kids, it will fly very far...... as for mavis 300, the plastic feather is like real feather, its a big big different.

mavis 7 has styrofoam base, i guess mavis 10 does too.
    Their skirts are simpler.

Note that different colour of shuttles(mavis shuttles) does have different flight speed. mavis 7 & 10 can't compare with mavis 300 onwards.

Ok thanks everyone... I have ordered some from that on-line shop. I'm just surprised how down-hill most of the high street shops have become recently
