We've been using these really cheap Sportscraft shuttlecocks from Walmart. We only play in the backyard and never indoors. Just recreational fun.

Anyway, the only problem with the Sportscraft shuttles, is that they fall apart very easily. Can you guys recommend me some more durable nylon shuttlecocks for outdoors.

    Thanks
    Chris

i think you can get carlton or yonex nylon ones. but i would suggest playing indoor unless you area is really calm and has no wind at all. when i was a kid we used to play outdoor and trying to cope with the draft is a real pain.
Also trying to hit against the wind is hopeless and the opposition will have all the "power".or when the shuttle goes sideways and not where you intended it to go like into the court...
