In terms of repulsion power, control and feeling; which do you suggest? lets say the tension is 24lbs and using on the same racket. Lets forget about the durability issues. Thanks.

I think the BG-85 is slightly better than BG-80 interm of control.

    BG-85 = more to control
BG-80 = more to smashing type of player.

FYI, I've bought the Gosen Root Aermet yesterday can't wait to try it.

My cab30ms now has BG85 on around 24 lbs, while I had BG80 on my MP23 around 25 lbs.

I prefer bg85 though, BG80 just felt a bit dense. Not so much spring in it. But it had a nice BANG sound. Or rather a BOOM. Kinda thing. Low pitch, high amplitude kind of sound. BG85 a bit higher pitch but not so loud.. (maybe cause I din hit it well on Sunday, still recovering from the flu). I'll give it a go soon prolly this Sunday. Too many tests and my exam coming up so not much time for social games.

    Cheers

If everything all together beside durability, then it is definitely BG85 hands down. Even at the smashing department I still prefer BG-85 over the 80.
