Hi, i just broke the strings on my racket, and i do not have money to pay for a restring. they charge $20 to string bg65!. i am interested in learning to string and buying a machine. it will save me quite alot of money. i used the search option and found a strining machine from eagnas. it is a portable drop weight machine at $70, i am wondering if this machine is reccomended for begginers like myself.
1. A decent string machine cost $$$ as well. If u bring string fairly often, it might be a good investment for a long run, assume u dont lose interests by then, and careful enough not to mess up some pricy rackets. 2. Personally, i think that machine's base is way too light. I would rather invest more, and go with the ones with solid base.
Have the same question but I was wondering: On the Yoenx website you can see 2 stringingmachine. Where do they sell them and who has used these?
A solid base will maintain the balance when u mount the racket, unmount the racket, as well as the string process. The last thing u want to see, is the string machine gets tipped over, and damaged itself as well as ur racket.
I totally agree with LB here. Just one thing to add. Light base machine does not effect string job in general. However, it really hurt when your machine tip over and scratch your $100+ racquet. Unless you carry your machine to gym all then time, get a heavy base machine. Also, get a case if you carry them around.
1. I doubt anyone will bring a string machine to gym, and spend 1+ hr (since it's drop weight machine) for racket, instead of playing on the court. 2. Save the original packing box = save urself $50-75 investment on carrying case.
I believe www.badminton.net used to sell 1 type. Not sure if they still have any left in stock. Also, u might contact ur local yonex dealer, see if u can place a special order through them.
Yes, except that you get two Yonex flying clamps instead of Eagnas clamps. You also get the Yonex name and probably pay 3 times more.
Eagnas produces all types of stringing machines, including electronic ones. You will be surprised how many companies use Eagnas machines under their own OEM name, including Yonex.
Isit? hmmm thats good. But i cant find any electronic machine under Eagnas Brand.. maybe you should give me a lead on it. I might consider getting one myself.
