Hi guys. Ken from New Jersey here. Came across this site by accident and I am finally glad to have had an accident. Once I show my wife this site, she will finally have to stop telling me it's a picnic game for kids!! Looking forward to benefitting from the plethora of knowledge here.
Welcome to BadmintonForum, brauer ... I think stumbling on to this site is how most people got here in the first place. What's your playing profile? Play a lot? -dave
Welcome to Badminton Central If you search "Badminton" in google, Badminton Central will definitely on the top 3 result. So it should not be by accident Anyways, Enjoy!
G'day Brauer.. Welcome to BadmintonCentral..! Hope you have a warm stay here..! Take it easy.. cheers - Alby.. vbmenu_register("postmenu_255419", true);
I'm actually... just starting to get back into the game. I played a lot when I was younger (now 47). I'd forgotten how much fun it is. The only downside is that my buddy's wife is ticked off that we destroyed the yard with our 4 hour match this past Saturday. (the muscles just began functioning again yesterday, and it's looking as if I won't be paralyzed for life after all.
lol.. you used the word 'destroyed'.. was itTHAT BAD? lol.. you guys should have taken a before and after pic of the yard, hehe..
It's all good man!! Now if you can destroy more lawns... would that change people's preception of this backyard sport......? mm.... WOOPs. forgot the most important thing is to welcome you here!! Welcome on board mate!!
Thanks... ...it's great to be here. It is my personal quest to make Kentucky bluegrass an indangered species!
Just an additional question following up ants's question.. what exactly did you take out in their garden? A messed up grass patch here? A fallen tree here and there? Crater over there? Messed up flower beds? lol.. i'm picturing a garden that has gone chaotic..
Actually... It was a tad slippery, but you have to deal with what you have. The key is to have good shoes and to avoid sweating.
