It seems there's a new channel that broadcasts, at least occasionally, Chinese program. In particular, they had 1 hour of basketball tonite, followed by Volleyball. I suspect they may play badminton as well. So do flip your channel to channel 32 (in South Bay) once in a while. And I think the channel name is KMTP San Franscisco. They've sports every Sunday at 10:00 pm, and other Chinese programs at nite. If you come across any badminton tourneys schedules (or figure out how to get them), please remember to post it up here to let everyone know .
Sorry, I don't recognize SCV. But FYI, I'm using AT&T (not digital cable, yet). Perhaps the best thing is for you to scan your channels in the evening. 10:00 pm seems like a good time. If you find a "new" channel, mark it down, and revisit often, particularly Sunday nite at 10:00. That's until one of us figure out their regular program hours.
