    HI louis,
In JB their stock is not updated at all
They only update on the clones
For those more prominent brand like yonex, carlton and rsl etc JB is not the place

When others already give up Carlton racquet but what make you so desperate to get a Carlton?

No doubt that after YONEX, CARLTON is the second reputable brand in the badminton industries but how do you know that Carlton has launched new racquet? Even in this forum, no one has mentioned it long time ago.

I bet you're a die hard fan to the Airblade series, aren't you?

no lah, that guy has no time to on-line. he he.

part of the reason you can't see carlton is because nowdays consumer will only go for either real YONEX stuff or clone. (Reason : $$$)

I don't see any players (amateur) using Carlton anymore. Most of them is using ProAce, Apacs, Fleet, Yang Yang and Yonex.

I intend to get a ProAce Widebody 55, have you ever tried this racquet before?

    p/s : why don't you try Wilson n-code series??

Both Mega Sport and Hongli (Sentosa) have the ProAce ABS Power 1000 but what is the difference if compare with other racquet? Somemore this racquet is quite expensive - RM230 ~ RM250-00. I don't understand why this racquet is so expensive. At this price, I rather buy Wilson n-code series.

I was told that this ABS 1000 is an defensive racquet. ;)

abs means added balance system. dunno wat it means
but according to joseph, the racquet is designed in a way that allow minimum air resistance when u swing it.
if u take a closer look at the head of the racquet. there are small columns around the racquet "ring". that according to joseph, allows air to flow thru smoothly hence lower air resistance
nop i havent tried titanium yet

you think this design has lower air resistence compare with the Carlton Airblade Frame? I don't think so. Maybe that ABS frame is meant for better "control".

You better wait until next coming month because I was told that there is a new racquet from ProAce called "Energy ..." :)

HI Louis, I got one ABS 1000, bought in last year december. it is a light but haevy head racket. but i am not using it as string lost tension liao. DUN be conned by other people that this racket is defensive racket, it is not bad, can produce decent power, really.

One more thing, i wan to sell this racket. Please let me know if anyone interested. Selling at RM 100, cause got scratch mark after clashes. Overall a performance racket, clear from base to base no problem at all.
