i think i kind of need this cuz i messed up my ankle a couple times.... this one is quite expensive so is there one that is cheaper but gives the same protection that it says it gives..

You don't necessary need to pay so much to get a high-end ankle protector. I used to twist my ankle when I started playing badminton. After I bought a couple of ankle protector from a local pharmacy, I don't recall any ankle twisting anymore. The pair of ankle protectors that I've got was equivalent to USD20+. Try asking for one at any local pharmacy, sports-shop, shoe-shop, etc.
