:) Nice to meet you all, my name is Stephanie and I hail from the Bay Area, California. I've been playing badminton seriously for 2 years now...I've been in awe of the game as a spectator and a player ever since I watched my high school time play...so take care and have fun!

    Thanks for the welcome, weeyet!

I don't have a favorite player, yet...we don't get much badminton coverage in the U.S. I only watched some during the Olympics in Greece, and missed that famous Indonesian men's singles player... I hear he has really excellent game.

I play mixed doubles more often, so maybe you can inform me of some good pairs?

How bout you? Who are you favorites?:)

Hi, Welcome to BadmintonForum, dummyvariable! :D

Bay Area, you say? There's lots of growth in the sport in the area, what with the opening in excellent badminton facilities over there.

    Welcome again!

haha i've never seen malaysians play....when i was little and visited my relatives in HK, and i watched badminton which seemed to be on tv all the time, i remember watching a lot of indonesian and hong kong players :)

i like watching fierce, fiery, and fast playing style....maybe all players have that style to some extent, but could u inform me as to which player(s) has that characteristic playing style?

Maybe you can watch men doubles playing for that...
For singles, I will recommend that Indonesian player Taufik Hidayat and Lin Dan
