How about using tennis grip instead? I can't tell the difference except towel grips.

Tennis grips are thicker there for modifying your rackets feel

Why don't you just make your own?

I think he means a towel grip which would make sense of making your own.

Exactly. Just cut a towel you don't need and ta-da!

    http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17955&highlight=Make+Towel+Grip

Or do what I did. I did it to one of my rackets and it works as good as a towel one.

You find clean, old shorts that have a gartered waist, cut the garter out, clip it in half, and wrap! It's absorbent as towel because it is cotton and the garter makes grooves in case you want the grip bigger.

Makes more sense this way if you have no store near you that sells grips.

Any of the thin tennis grip will do. You just need to cut them. You can get thin tennis over grip in any local sporting good store.
