hi everyone.....i need some help here......when i was playing a badminton game couple days ago..... i notice my head for the racquet is slighty bend....I was planning to try hammer the head to fix it...i am not sure is it a good idea....? can someone help me think of a better idea ..thz
a hammer racket::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying: i would feels sorry for him/her :crying:... me thinks the string is causing the deformation. i think its a great idea to smash it with a hammer . good luck! (lets just hope its a 2 dollar steel racket) what tension u string it at? string? racket? maybe the stringer didn't do it equal and didn't follow this thread: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9516 if its at high tension, i really think that you should cut the strings right away so it doesnt crack. (i am not a professional at all, ask kwun or cooler) regards, jc
it will be useful if you tell us what racket it is and what string tension. if it is graphite racket, you are basically out of luck. a graphite racket bent after a collision means that the structure already fractured and cracked. there is no way to "bend" it back. if it is a metalic head, you may be able to do it if you are careful.
i am using bg65 @ 18 lbs and the racquet is Wilson TiPower very unfortunate *100% Graphite Shaft* how come i can't fix it? is it the material too fragile?
Your racquet warped while it's at 18lb?!?! You're really unlucky :crying: Doubt you can fix it :\.... You can try, but try when you remove the string.
why am i very unlucky? can u explain to me a little bit more becuase i only play the sport...and i enjoy playing..
