Hey, since you're in Toronto, I saw one at Yo's a while ago. They were selling it. It's kinda blue and gold ish. Sorry, I don't have any photos =/

Dependent on its release date, the new one (only released recently, in tow with the new Cab20) is red, whereas the old one is blue.

It is this new (red) one that has trickeled onto the US market.

the second photo makes it look dusty, was it normally like that (because of the lustre (shininess) or is it jsut dusty?

yep, they're sparkles you see on the cab.
as for string and tension, bg66/85 hybrids, 24lbs.

has anyone had a chance to try out the new cab21 yet? does it play the same?

haha, you're a bum. anything with cab and twenty-something on it to you is very nice.

i have an old blue cab21 and a new red 21, both felt the same to me. When i weighed both of them, they almost weighted exactly the same weight!! This is w/o string/grip and both had the same properties. I was suprised. The static balance was the same too. So as far as i know, its pretty close, the blue and red one that is. Though my blue one is one of the newer batches, so that might be why they are similiar?
