MX: All seeds progressed into 2nd round, no surprise. im only disappointed that Koo Kien Keat/Wong Pei Thy was defeated by Anthony Clark/Donna Kellog 7-15,13-15.

    1. Nathan Robertson/Gail Emms def. Xie/Zhang 9-15,15-4,15-7
    8. Thomas Laybourn/Kamilla Rytter Juhl def. Nugroho/Tetty 15-1,10-15,15-12
    3. Chen Qiqiu/Zhao Tingting def. Lundgaard/Schjoldager 15-11,15-4
    5. Sudket/Saralee def. Rizal/Endang 9-15, 15-11,15-1
    6. Lee Jae Jin/Lee hyo Jung def. Masuda/Maeda 15-2,15-10
    4. Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir def. Shirley/Runesten 15-9,15-8
    7. Robert Blair/Natalie Munt def. Gan/Fong 15-9,15-9
    2. Zhang Jun/Gao Ling def. Lamp/Harder 15-8,15-6

    Saputra/Li Yujia def. Tazari/Ooi Sock Ai 15-2, 15-4

sadly to say that all malaysian pairs crash out in 1st round.

i didn't watch that match but the results was copied from the scoreboard. i was only able to catch the match bet Bao Chun Lai and Lee Hyun Il. Bao played a fast and attacking game and Lee was unable to cope in the 1st set. Lee was only able to give some resistance in the early 2nd set. Bao was not threatened at all throughout the match.

i normally like to do bashing on BAM here as well........ but the for the first time in very long time (or is it ever???) BAM is providing full daily results of matches on its own website. applaudes

ppl please check out this link: http://www.bam.org.my/tournaments.php

yes its sad that there is no up to the minute live results..... but having daily results at the end of each day is a step forward already! :)
