Sure, why not. Badminton uses every muscle in the body. Lol. My butt was sore a couple of times, but oh well.

agree. i always get sore bottoms, sore shoulders when i play a long day of badminton. like last night, i played nearly 3 hours non-stop. i was on my 3rd t-shirt, played till i was dehydrated (i did drink but didn't help), dizzy, my head started to ache, and when someone asked me for another game, i still said, "sure!"

but today, i can feel every piece of my leg muscles.

but what a great feeling. :)

    haha yes..
on Tuesday, I was running drills with my coach working on my jump smashes and my lunge smash blocks. Oh man, what a workout. THe next day, every part of my body ached. Most of the pain came from my shoulder, forearm, back, abs, butt, and my whole right leg and left calve. Luckily my coach couldn't make it that morning for my training or else I think I would have died! I could barely walk up and down the stairs!!

James is right, the lunging makes your butt sore.

soreness is good.. it makes ur muscle "grow".. haha.. its a gd sign..

but if still play when ur muscles are sore.. inital movements are would be pretty restrictive.. but as time goes on.. the muscle would still function the same way.. and after that.. moving around the court would still be the same..

cheers.. remember to put medicated oil on the affected parts to end the suffering eariler..

A gd sign if u want a big butt ;) Jks. Anyways, I get this all the time and it is mainly from the lunges that are excecuted while playing. A lot of ppl ignore these muscles when they are stretching but they are essential. The stretch Lin Dan is doing is what I am talking about.
