FEES TO PAY TO PLAY IN GTA

    MY CLUB IN OAKVILLE,ONTARIO CANADA IS FACING A SIGNIFICANT RAISE
    IN FEES FOR

    USING THE HIGH SCHOOL GYMNASIUM IN WHICH TO PLAY NEXT YEAR.

    THIS IS GOING TO BE IMPOSED BY THE SCHOOLS. MEMBERS WILL BE

    PAYING ROUGHLY $150-160 A SEASON, UP FROM $90. WE ARE FACING

    THIS INCREASE FOR SEPT 2002. ANYONE IN ANY OTHER CLUBS IN THE

    GTA HAVING FEES RAISED? SEEMS LIKE GOUGING TO ME. WHAT ARE

    YOU PAYING TO PLAY?

    It does sound like gouging... but have you considered the fact that the majority of costs are now weighed onto the schools by the provincial government? You have to thank Mike Harris for this.
